What the job covers
As a Regional Manager and Senior Contracts Manager for one of Africa’s largest contract miners, Siya has been responsible for project execution and schedules, contractual compliance, technical standards, commercial matters and logistics across Burkina Faso and Guinea.
His sites have recorded several lost-time-injury-free milestones. He was named Employee of the Year in 2012, and his operation won Project and Site of the Year for 2011 to 2012.
Professional standing
Member of the Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy since January 2006. Presenter on mining projects at SAIMM in 2006 and at the 42nd TOCPA conference in 2019.
